Swiss Air Hand Luggage Allowance:
Under the Economy Class, passengers can carry one bag not exceeding 8 kg (17 lbs), but not exceeding 55 x 40 x 23 cm (21 x 15 x 9 inches). Two 8 kg/17 lb baggage are allowed in Business and First Class. As well, every passenger is allowed to carry one personal belonging, i.e. a laptop or handbag not bigger than 40 x 30 x 10 cm.
It is recommended that you may need to leave your hand bags at the gate when flying on a smaller, full packed airplane.
Swiss Air Musical Instruments and Hand Bags
Small instruments are allowed as hand luggage as long as they don't weigh more than the allotted amount for Swiss Air. If an additional seat is bought for a larger musical instrument, it can be carried on board. A Swiss point of sale or travel agency must be used for this.
